Week 4

Week 4 LBBC Fall Pickleball League Recap

🎾 Overview

Week 4 brought big energy and even bigger rallies! With 33 total games played across five heated rounds, players came ready to battle, laugh, and sometimes argue (lovingly) about whether that ball really clipped the line. We saw teamwork, tricky spins, and a few “I swear I didn’t mean to do that, but I’ll take it” winners. The season’s rhythm is hitting its stride, and every Saturday is feeling more like a mini-festival of pickleball awesomeness.

🏅 Top Performers – Week 4

1️⃣ Don Deaube (5–0, +17) — flawless form, flawless record. A masterclass in control and composure.

🎤 Player of the Week – Don Deaube

Stat Pick: Don continues his reign of dominance — undefeated at 5–0 this week, totaling 76 points for and just 59 against. That’s consistency with style.

LBBC Personality Pick: Don is not just winning — he’s vibing. Always supportive, always smiling, and somehow making everyone else better just by sharing the court. The definition of LBBC energy: competitive, kind, and quietly lethal. 🎯

Quang & Natalie vs. Richard & Michael – This one was pure entertainment: long rallies, sharp reflexes, and more “oohs” and “ahhs” than a fireworks show. It finished 11-9 with both teams grinning and drenched — the best kind of battle.

😬 Tough Week for Some

A few players hit rough patches this round — the dreaded “close but no cigar” games. But that’s league life: one week you’re on fire, the next week the net eats your serve. Props to everyone who kept the spirits high (and the post-game laughter even higher).

It was a challenging day on the courts from an organizational standpoint. With tennis taking priority on Courts 5-8, we squeezed all league games onto 4 courts and ran each round in two heats. When the tennis tournament expanded further at 12 p.m. sharp, Round 5 was only halfway completed.

We’ll be reaching out individually to players who didn’t get to finish Round 5 to schedule make-up games 🎾. Once those are done, we’ll update EVERYONE’s standings with the full Round 5 results — so stay tuned for the official Week 2 final stats and rankings!
