  • Sam, Don, Al and Eugene's game will be replayed. This means their W/L record and point differential have been adjusted and nowshows they played 5 games, not 6
  • Thomas and John L played an extra game (7th) to allow other players complete their 6 games however their wins/losses and points scored in game 7th will not count towards week 1 results. Their record has been adjusted accordingly

🪜🔥 SPRING SATURDAY LADDER LEAGUE

Starts March 14 | Registration Opens 2/13

Ready to compete, climb, and test your game?

Our Spring Saturday Ladder League is designed for players who want competitive match play in a structured, high-energy environment — without needing a set partner.

You’re in it for yourself.
But you’ll never play alone.

🎾 FORMAT: INDIVIDUAL DOUBLES (Rotating Partners)

Simple. Competitive. Addictive.

• Doubles format
• No partner needed — partners rotate
• Rally scoring
• 2 full hours of match play each Saturday
• Mixed gender play
• Track your wins and climb the ladder weekly

Your position shifts based on performance — win and move up, lose and move down. Every point matters.

📅 SEASON DETAILS

5 Saturdays: March 14 – April 18
No games April 11 (Spring Break)
Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm
Location: TBA

Can't make a Saturday? No problem! Designate a sub in your place or we will help you find one!

🏅 DIVISIONS

Two divisions to keep play competitive and fun:

Lower Division: approx 2.0 – 2.75
Higher Division: approx 2.75 – 3.8*

But here’s the key:

👉 DUPR is a guideline — not a gatekeeper.

We care more about how you perform in our events.

📊 If You Played Fall Individual League:

• Finished Top 16 → Register Higher
• Finished Bottom 16 → Register Lower

🏆 If You Played Winter Teams:

• Top 8 team → Higher
• Bottom 8 team → Lower
• Bottom 8 but consistently strong results outside your team? Keep reading 👇

🎯 No Rating or Unsure?

We will be running:
• Weekly Mini Tourneys
• Round Robins
• Ladder sessions
• Competitive Open Plays

Finish in the Top Half of one of these before the season starts → You qualify for Higher.

Because performance > decimals.

Check schedule HERE and register for a qualifier now

⭐ KEY LEAGUE FEATURES

• Play with different partners each week
• Mixed gender competition
• Sub allowed if you can’t make a week (sub will contribute to your standings but max. 1 time)
• Prizes for Top 3 (Over $300 value!)
• Great prep for tournaments + leagues

This is competitive play with structure — but still 100% LBBC fun.

🌧 WEATHER POLICY

If a reschedule isn’t possible:

💰 REFUND POLICY

We like fairness AND clarity:

• 50% refund OR 100% credit if canceled within 7 days before start
• No refunds once the league begins

💵 PRICING

• $74 Early Bird (ends 2/28)

Which Division to Choose?

🌸 Which Division Should I Choose? (Spring Ladder League)

We will have two divisions:

🔝 Higher Division (competitive, approx. 2.75–3.8 level)
🌱 Lower Division (developing players, approx. 2.0–2.75 level)

But here’s the important part:

👉 DUPR is a guideline — not a hard cutoff.

We care more about how you actually perform in our events than a single rating number.

🎯 If You Have a DUPR Rating

Around 2.75 or higher → Higher Division.

Around 2.5–2.7 → Most likely Higher Division.

Around 2.3–2.5 → Look at your results with us.

Because here’s the truth:

If you are rated 2.4 or 2.5
BUT you consistently:

  • Finished Top 16 in Fall
  • Finished Top 8 in Winter Teams
  • Placed in the Top Half of our Mini Tourneys / Round Robins
  • Regularly compete evenly with Higher players

👉 You belong in the Higher Division.

Your performance matters more than your DUPR snapshot.

Ratings can lag.
Improvement can outpace the algorithm.

🏆 Fall & Winter Results Matter More Than a Decimal

Examples:

Scenario 1:
You have a 2.45 DUPR.
You finished Top 12 in the Fall Individual League.
You were Top 8 in Winter Teams.

→ You clearly compete at a higher level.
→ Register Higher.

Scenario 2:
You have no DUPR.
You finished Bottom 16 in Fall and Bottom 8 in Winter Teams.

→ Lower Division is the right fit (for now).

Scenario 3 (The “It Was My Team’s Fault” Case 😏):
You finished Bottom 8 in Winter Teams.
But you go out and place Top Half in a Mini Tourney before Spring starts.

→ That’s your qualifier.
→ You can move into Higher.

Check schedule HERE and register for a qualifier now

🧠 Why We’re Doing This

We want:

Higher Division = truly competitive, faster pace, stronger matchups.
Lower Division = open, developmental, confidence-building.

  • This isn’t about excluding anyone.
  • It’s about putting you in the environment where:
  • You’re challenged
  • You’re competitive
  • You’re not overwhelmed
  • And you’re not steamrolling everyone either
