Self Defense Class for Youth & Teens
This is an introductory Self-Defense Beginners Class for youth with no martial arts experience whatsoever and for all fitness levels.
What will you learn?• awareness instruction • striking points (eye pokes, knee kicks, etc.) • standing escape techniques (single hand hold, double hand hold, hold from the background escape techniques (hip escape, choke escape) • how to turn anything into a weapon that will help you fight off the attacker and more
What else is included?• goody bag for each participant • handouts with class content to review after event • action & group photos • videos with class content available only to class attendees
What to expect?Class held barefoot on special mats. There will be some contact between participants. Workout attire required. Total time allocated for the event is about 2 hours (includes check-in, liability waivers, warm-up and class instruction).
