Julie discovered her passion for health and wellness in the Mile High City (Denver,) and she is excited to share the love in beautiful Long Beach! Prior to moving to SoCal one year ago, Julie turned to fitness as a preventative self- care tool when she was employed as a social worker with high- risk youth in nonprofit settings. Julie found that when she was taking care of her mind and body first, she was better able to show up and empower clients to make healthy choices. Her social work skills translated very well into the fitness world, where she has worked with youth and adults from all fitness backgrounds, from seasoned athletes to beginners who are just developing their comfort with training.
Julie has worked one-on-one with clients, taught small groups, and larger group bootcamp, kettlebell, metabolic conditioning, TRX, strength and mobility/ active recovery classes. She is excited to be part of your fitness journey!
